Campinas Film Festival
O Festival de Cinema de Campinas foi criado para celebrar a arte do cinema e homenagear os cineastas que tornam tudo isso possível. Este é um festival dedicado a premiar artistas por seus talentos individuais e por sua expressão criativa por meio do filme. O festival busca promover em Campinas-SP-Brasil filmes independentes e experimentais na tentativa de fornecer uma plataforma para a troca de ideias e pensamentos, o que possibilitará encontros criativos de pessoas de todo o mundo.
The Campinas Film Festival was created to celebrate the art of cinema and honor the filmmakers who make it all possible. This is a festival dedicated to rewarding artists for their individual talents and for their creative expression through film. The festival seeks to promote independent and experimental films in Campinas-SP-Brasil in an attempt to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and thoughts, which will enable creative encounters of people from all over the world!
PRÊMIOS:
Campinas Film Festival irá premiar os melhores das principais categorias do festival: longa metragem, Animação, Documentário, Curta Ficção, filme de estudante, Cinematografia, Trilha Sonora Original, diretores, atores, etc. A premiação consiste em um certificado de premiação digital a ser enviado por email para os vencedores, bem como um laurel correspondente ao prêmio para ser utilizado junto ao material do filme premiado. O Campinas Film Festival tem como prêmio: O Grande Prêmio Andorinha do Festival.

The award consists of a digital award certificate to be sent by email to the winners, as well as a laurel corresponding to the award to be used with the award-winning film material.

Regras e Regulamentos do Campinas Film Festival
I. Competição
O Campinas Film Festival (doravante denominado Festival) acontecerá em Campinas-SP-Brazil com a premiação em outubro de 2023, de forma online.
O Festival receberá para as competições:
FORMATO NACIONAL (SOMENTE para FILMES dirigidos por CINEASTAS Brasileiros):
• LONGA-METRAGEM – competição para o melhor filme de BRASILEIRO*(Documentários não são considerados nesta categoria;
• CURTA-METRAGEM – competição para o melhor curta metragem BRASILEIRO*(duração até 30 minutos) ;
• DOCUMENTÁRIO – competição para o melhor Documentário BRASILEIRO*(duração até 30 minutos);
• ANIMAÇÃO – concurso para o melhor filme de animação BRASILEIRO*(duração até 30 minutos);
• ESTUDANTE – concurso para o melhor filme realizado por estudante brasileiro* (duração até 30 minutos).
*Em caso de falta de quantidade suficiente de curtas-metragens para preparar um conjunto de filmes de alto nível artístico, o Organizador tem o direito de unir competições em uma competição para O Melhor Curta-Metragem BRASILEIRO.
FORMATO INTERNACIONAL: a competição se esforçará para apresentar outras regiões do mundo através de filmes feitos por artistas independentes, estudantes e amadores.
• LONGA-METRAGEM – competição para o melhor filme estrangeiro (Documentários não são considerados nesta categoria) -obrigatório ser legendado em português;
• CURTA-METRAGEM – competição para o melhor curta metragem estrangeiro (obrigatório ser legendado em português – duração até 30 minutos);
• ANIMAÇÃO – competição para a melhor animação estrangeira (obrigatório ser legendado em português – duração até 30 minutos) dirigido a artistas (estudantes, amadores, independentes) de todo o mundo;
• DOCUMENTÁRIO – competição para o melhor documentário estrangeiro (obrigatório ser legendado em português – duração até 30 minutos), dirigido a artistas – estudantes, amadores, independentes – de todo o mundo.
II. Organizador
Os criadores e promotores do Festival são o Projeto Escuta o Cheiro e a Ogawa Butoh Center, sediado no Distrito de Sousas em Campinas-SP-Brasil(doravante denominado Organizador). A pessoa que representa o Organizador é Mariana Lima de Vasconcelos, Sócia-Administradora do Projeto Escuta o Cheiro . As pessoas que coordenam o Festival em nome do Organizador são: João Butoh e Marcio Belardini.
Apenas o Projeto Escuta o Cheiro e a Ogawa Butoh Center tem direitos autorais e direitos de propriedade intelectual de todo o Festival.
III. Condições de Participação
1. Os Participantes no concurso devem ter mais de 15 anos e estar envolvidos na realização de filmes.
2. O filme inscrito não poderá ter mais de 30 minutos (exceto para Longa-Metragem).
3. O filme deve possuir todas as qualidades que comumente o classificam como o mesmo está sendo inscrito (longa-metragem, curta-metragem, documentário, animação).
4. Os filmes inscritos serão pré-selecionados.
5. O Festival qualificará e avaliará os filmes de acordo com seu próprio critério subjetivo. O Participante não tem o direito de se opor às qualificações e avaliação do Comitê de Seleção.
6. Os filmes devem ser enviados antes de 15 de setembro de 2023.
7. O Festival só levará em consideração as inscrições enviadas através do site: https://filmfreeway.com/CampinasFilmFestival .
8. A inscrição deve incluir o filme com legendas em português.
9. A lista de filmes selecionados para o Festival será divulgada em 01 de outubro de 2023.
10. Cada participante pode enviar no máximo 2 filmes. As inscrições sem os anexos não serão qualificadas.
IV. Avaliação dos filmes
11. Os filmes serão avaliados para a Competição pelo diretor do festival.
12. A tarefa do diretor é resolver a competição em cada um dos formatos de acordo com as disposições deste Regulamento e os princípios de equidade e justiça.
13. O Festival atribui prêmios aos melhores filmes do Festival, atribuídos em cada uma das competições. Também é possível que haja outros prêmios concedidos por instituições culturais e pelo público. 14. As decisões do julgamento são finais e conclusivas e não são passíveis de recurso.
V. Direitos autorais
15. A pessoa que submete o filme ou seu realizador declara que é o proprietário do filme ou age em seu nome, com o consentimento do titular dos direitos autorais e a ele pessoalmente, não ao Organizador (mencionado no ponto 2 deste Regulamento e Regulamentos), que não estará sujeito a qualquer eventual litígio relativo a esta questão.
16. A pessoa que submete o filme dá seu consentimento para a exibição sua produção durante o Festival e durante outros eventos de promoção do Festival organizados pelo Organizador.
17. A pessoa que submete o filme dá o seu consentimento para utilizar peças do seu trabalho em programas de televisão que cobrem o Festival.
18. A pessoa que submete o filme declara que não exigirá qualquer pagamento pela exibição do seu trabalho durante o Festival e eventos pós-Festival que promovam o Festival.
VI. Observações técnicas
19. Todas as inscrições submetidas ao concurso permanecerão nos arquivos do Organizador.
VII. A responsabilidade do Organizador e Participantes da Competição
20. A Organizadora não se responsabiliza pela violação de qualquer lei relativa aos projetos apresentados pelos Participantes.
21. O Organizador não se responsabiliza por reclamações de terceiros sobre os direitos autorais dos filmes enviados.
22. Os participantes são os únicos responsáveis pelos eventos mencionados acima.
VIII. Declarações dos Participantes, proteção de dados pessoais
23. Os Participantes são obrigados a cumprir o disposto neste Regulamento.
24. O participante ao enviar o filme também aceita as disposições destas Regras e Regulamentos e consente a inclusão de seus dados pessoais no banco de dados temporário do Organizador e processá-lo pelo Organizador exclusivamente para fins de organização da competição, na medida do necessário para o seu bom funcionamento.
25.Ao aceitar estas Regras e Regulamentos, os Participantes também declaram irrevogavelmente que: o aderem voluntariamente a participar do concurso, o sua identidade apresentada ao Organizador é verdadeira, o concordar com a publicação e utilização do filme submetido a concurso para fins de concurso, nas condições descritas neste Regulamento, bem como exibições de promoção do Festival.
IX. Disposições finais
26. Estas Regras e Regulamentos entrarão em vigor após a publicação no site https://filmfreeway.com/CampinasFilmFestival.
27. As Regras e Regulamentos da Competição estão disponíveis por toda a duração a partir da data de publicação no https://filmfreeway.com/CampinasFilmFestival. As Regras e Regulamentos da Competição também estão disponíveis para consulta no site do Organizador.
28. Todas as informações sobre o Concurso contidas em materiais promocionais e publicitários são meramente incidentais, sendo os direitos e obrigações dos Participantes e do Organizador do Concurso regidos pela lei e pelo disposto neste Regulamento.
29. As regras e regulamentos podem estar sujeitos a alterações. Todos os Participantes serão previamente informados sobre as alterações. O Organizador reserva-se o direito de suspender, descontinuar, prolongar ou cancelar o Concurso sem apresentar motivos.
30. As alterações a estas Regras e Regulamentos serão aplicadas a partir desta data.
31. Os assuntos não abrangidos por estas Regras e Regulamentos serão decididos pela organização do festival.
32. O Participante do Concurso deverá comunicar imediatamente ao Organizador a mudança de endereço ou outros dados fornecidos para o Concurso.
33. A submissão de filmes através do https://filmfreeway.com/CampinasFilmFestival equivale a ler este Regulamento e aceitar as suas condições. Submissões Múltiplas: Ao enviar mais de um projeto, cada um deve ter seu próprio material de submissão.
34. Nenhuma inscrição deve ter sido exibida comercialmente ou lançada em formato de vídeo ou disponível na internet antes das datas do Festival (exceções podem ser feitas a critério do Festival).
35. Os selecionados serão notificados por e-mail. Os não selecionados serão notificados por e-mail na semana seguinte.
36. Se selecionado, você deverá fornecer o seguinte material:
· Kits de imprensa completos, incluindo fotos de filmes e biografia e foto dos diretores;
· Videoclipe ou trailer digital de 60 segundos para imprensa promocional;
·A sinopse do projeto, créditos de elenco e equipe.

Rules and regulations
from Campinas Film Festival
I. Competition
The Campinas Film Festival (hereinafter called Festival) will take place in Campinas-SP-Brazil with the award in october, 2023, online.
The Festival will receive for the competitions:
NATIONAL FORMAT (ONLY for FILMS directed by Brazilian FILMMAKERS):
• FEATURE FILM – competition for the best Brazilian film*(Documentary are not considered in this category);
• SHORT FILM – competition for the best BRAZILIAN short film* (duration up to 30 minutes);
• DOCUMENTARY – competition for the best BRAZILIAN Documentary* (duration up to 30 minutes);
• ANIMATION – competition for the best Brazilian animated film* (duration up to 30 minutes);
• STUDENT FILM – competition for the best film made by a Brazilian student* (duration up to 30 minutes).
*In case of lack of sufficient number of short films to prepare a set of films of high artistic level, the Organizer has the right to join competitions in a competition for The Best BRAZILIAN Short Film.
INTERNATIONAL FORMAT: The competition will strive to present other regions of the world through films made by independent artists, students and amateurs.
• FOREIGN FEATURE FILM – competition for the best foreign film (Documentary are not considered in this category) – must be subtitled in Portuguese;
• FOREIGN SHORT FILM – competition for the best foreign short film (must be subtitled in Portuguese – duration up to 30 minutes);
• FOREIGN ANIMATION – competition for the best foreign animation (must be subtitled in Portuguese – duration up to 30 minutes) aimed at artists (students, amateurs, independents) from all over the world;
• FOREIGN DOCUMENTARY – competition for the best foreign documentary (must be subtitled in Portuguese – duration up to 30 minutes), aimed at artists – students, amateurs, independents – from all over the world.
• FOREIGN STUDENT FILM – competition for the best film foreign students (duration up to 30 minutes).
II. Organizer
The Festival’s creators and promoters are the Escuta o Cheiro Project and the Ogawa Butoh Center, based in the Sousas District in Campinas-SP-Brazil (hereinafter referred to as the Organizer). The person representing the Organizer is Mariana Lima de Vasconcelos, Managing Partner of the Escuta o Cheiro Project. The people who coordinate the Festival on behalf of the Organizer are: João Butoh and Marcio Belardini.
Only Projeto Listen to Smell and the Ogawa Butoh Center have copyright and intellectual property rights for the entire Festival.
III. Participation Conditions
1. Entrants to the contest must be over 15 years old and involved in filmmaking.
2. The submitted film cannot be longer than 30 minutes (except for Feature Films).
3. The film must have all the qualities that commonly classify it as being submitted (feature film, short film, documentary, animation).
4. The submitted films will be pre-selected.
5. The Festival will qualify and evaluate the films according to its own subjective criteria. The Participant has no right to object to the Selection Committee’s qualifications and evaluation.
6. Films must be submitted before september 15, 2023.
7. The Festival will only consider entries submitted through the website: https://filmfreeway.com/CampinasFilmFestival .
8. The entry must include the film with Portuguese subtitles!
9. The list of films selected for the Festival will be released on october 1, 2023.
10. Each participant can send a maximum of 2 films. Entries without attachments will not be eligible.
IV. Film rating
11. Films will be evaluated for the Competition by the festival director.
12. The Director’s task is to resolve the competition in each of the formats in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations and the principles of fairness and justice.
13. The Festival awards prizes to the best films of the Festival, awarded in each of the competitions. It is also possible that there are other awards given by cultural institutions and the public.
14. Judgment decisions are final and conclusive and not subject to appeal.
V. Copyright
15. The person submitting the film or its director declares that he is the owner of the film or acts on his behalf, with the consent of the copyright holder and him personally, not the Organizer (mentioned in point 2 of these Rules and Regulations) , which will not be subject to any dispute relating to this matter.
16. The person submitting the film gives his/her consent for his/her production to be shown during the Festival and during other Festival promotion events organized by the Organizer.
17. The person submitting the film gives his/her consent to use pieces of his/her work in television programs covering the Festival.
18. The person submitting the film declares that he will not demand any payment for the exhibition of his work during the Festival and post-Festival events promoting the Festival.
VI. Technical remarks
19. All entries submitted to the competition will remain in the Organizer’s archives.
VII. The responsibility of the Organizer and Participants of the Competition
20. The Organizer is not responsible for the violation of any law relating to the projects submitted by the Participants.
21. The Organizer is not responsible for claims by third parties about the copyright of the submitted films.
22. Participants are solely responsible for the events mentioned above.
VIII. Declarations by Participants, protection of personal data
23. Participants are required to comply with the provisions of these Regulations.
24. The participant by submitting the film also accepts the provisions of these Rules and Regulations and consents to the inclusion of his personal data in the Organizer’s temporary database and to process it by the Organizer exclusively for the purposes of organizing the competition, to the extent necessary for its proper functioning.
25.By accepting these Rules and Regulations, Participants also irrevocably declare that:
voluntarily join the contest, your identity presented to the Organizer is true, o agreeing with the publication and use of the film submitted to the competition for the purposes of the competition, under the conditions described in these Regulations, as well as exhibitions to promote the Festival.
IX. Final Provisions
26. These Rules and Regulations will become effective upon posting on https://filmfreeway.com/CampinasFilmFestival.
27. The Competition Rules and Regulations are available for the entire duration from the date of publication on https://filmfreeway.com/CampinasFilmFestival. The Competition Rules and Regulations are also available for consultation at the Organizer’s headquarters.
28. All information about the Contest contained in promotional and advertising materials is merely incidental, and the rights and obligations of the Participants and the Contest Organizer are governed by law and by the provisions of these Regulations.
29. Rules and regulations may be subject to change. All Participants will be previously informed of the changes. The Organizer reserves the right to suspend, discontinue, extend or cancel the Contest without giving reasons.
30. Changes to these Rules and Regulations will apply as of this date.
31. Matters not covered by these Rules and Regulations will be decided by the festival organization.
32. The Participant in the Competition must immediately notify the Organizer of the change of address or other data provided for the Competition.
33. Submission of films through https://filmfreeway.com/CampinasFilmFestival is equivalent to reading these Rules and Regulations and accepting their conditions.
Multiple Submissions: When sending in more than one project, each one must have its own submission material.
34. No entry shall have been screened commercially or released in video format or available on the internet prior to the Festival dates (exceptions may be made at the discretion of the Festival)
35. Those selected will be notified via email. Those not selected will be notified via email the following week.
36. If selected you should be able to provide the following material:
·Full press kits including film stills and directors bio and Photo;
·60 Seconds Digital Video clip or trailer for promotional press;
·The project synopsis, Cast and crew credits.
